Engineering Studies (N1 – N6)
Trimester-based engineering programmes leading to a National N Diploma. Combine theory with practical workshop training.
Programme overview
Our NATED engineering programmes follow the DHET Report 191 curriculum. Students progress from N1 through N6, then complete 18 to 24 months of relevant workplace experience to earn a National N Diploma.
Trimester intakes: January, April, July and October
3 to 4 months per level; six subjects per level
Modern workshops for practical training
N3 combined with two languages recognised as NSC equivalent
Bursaries and NSFAS funding available
Entry requirements
- • N1: Grade 9 with maths and science, or equivalent.
- • N4: Grade 12 (NSC) or N3 in the relevant field.
- • RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) accepted for working adults.
